1. Streamlined Internal Review (IR)

For researchers interested in utilizing Internal Review (IR) for their Insight Grant applications, SPARC will be accepting registration from August 15, 2012 until capacity is reached.

Researchers are also encouraged to talk to their Grant Facilitators to see how SPARC support can complement faculty based grant development support.

More information on the Internal Review process will be available in early August

2.  Access to successful sample Insight Grants (prior year)

We are seeking sample grants as a resource to support researchers—these samples grants are typically available as password protected electronic copies through CWL or as hard copies which may be viewed in person.

Current offerings can be accessed via the SPARC resources page, by clicking the Sample Grants hyperlink, then logging in to the CWL page that's presented.  This website is updated periodically as new sample grants become available.

3. SSHRC Insight Grant Information Session and Workshop 

Join us for a strategic information session on SSHRC’s recently revised research funding opportunity for individuals or teams within the Insight program.  At this session you will learn about the Insight Grant funding opportunity and how to improve your chances in submitting a successful grant application to that competition.

The meeting will be hosted by Dr. Ralph Matthews, Social Science and Humanities Research Coordinator for UBC and Dr. Rachael Ritchie, SSHRC Research Partnership Officer for SPARC.  They will review the application and evaluation process, as well as the services available to assist faculty in developing research proposals.
